Just like a real hospital for you or I, if you need any surgery for your treasured possessions we follow a strict process to provide you with an accurate quote and timeframe.

  1. QUOTE - To provide you with a quote, we must see the patient! We understand that this may be an inconvenience, but unfortunately (with so many variations) there is no other way. Photo's or verbal describtions do not provide us with enough information as there are things our surgeons look for which may not be obvious, or may even be internal!
  2. DELIVERING THE PATIENT - This can be done in person at Bexley in the inner southern suburbs of Sydney. Alternatively patients can be amulanced using Registered Australia Post or Courier. International repairs please phone or email for options.
  3. QUOTING TIME - Depending on which of our specialist doctors is needed, it may take a few days or up to a few weeks (in special cases) to provide you with a quote. Our average time is around 5 working days.
  4. APPROVAL - Once the quote is ready we will call you to discuss the qoute and advise you of the price, and for your approval to proceed if happy. We require a deposit to begin operating.
  5. DEPOSIT - A deposit of half of all surgery fees will need to be paid in advance. We accept credit card, cheque or money orders, or direct bank deposit. Cash is accepted in person at the Doll Hospital. DO NOT send cash by mail.
  6. SURGERY - Again, just like a real hospital, surgery depends on the availabilty and schedule of any specialist as well as the current backlog of sick patients in the wards. We do our best to give you an idea of the length of time that the surgery will take, however this kind of surgery is not an exact science and can sometimes take longer than the quoted time in some cases. The smallest things can unavoidably hold things up, like the weather which can effect the repainting process for example.
  7. POST-OP - As soon as your loved ones have their feet back on, we will call to notify you that they can be taken home.
  8. FINAL PAYMENT - Before the patient can be released into your care, the balance of the payment (plus any agreed extras) is required.
  9. PATIENT PICK-UP - As for Delivery, this can be done in person at Bexley or patients can be amulanced home using Registered Australia Post or Courier. International repairs please phone or email for options.
